Standing Form explores the relationship between opacity, translucency, and light through a rectangular wooden structure containing a square resin inset. The smooth, white-painted surface establishes a solid architectural boundary, while the translucent orange resin introduces color and depth within its opening. As lighting conditions change, the resin shifts in intensity, altering the perception of the otherwise static form. Through material contrast and geometric restraint, the work examines how light can transform the relationship between solid surfaces and the spaces they define.
