This series of circular resin sculptures with tassels draws inspiration from traditional round fans commonly used in the Philippines and throughout Asia. The tassels allude to the fan’s handle, while the circular resin forms present a geometric reinterpretation of the object. By suspending the works near windows, the sculptures engage natural light as an active material, further extending their dialogue between tradition and abstraction.
