Depth of Field consists of three staggered concrete forms with undulating profiles, arranged to create shifting relationships between mass, distance, and negative space. From a particular vantage point, the three forms visually converge into a single continuous mass. As the viewer moves around the sculpture, this apparent unity dissolves, revealing the separation and spatial relationships between its individual elements. Finished in red, the work establishes a distinct presence within the surrounding landscape while investigating how perspective can transform the perception of a fixed composition.
